Introduction to Glass Fusing
This class will introduce you to the wonderful world of kiln-formed glass.
You will learn about different types of compatible fusing glass, techniques
for cutting and assembling as well as how to prepare your pieces for firing.
Students will complete several pieces of their own design. No experience
necessary, just bring your creativity and your excitement to learn the
art of glass fusing. Basic finishing techniques will be covered.
$65 for 2.5 hours of instruction and supplies.
Intermediate Fusing and Slumping
This class teaches the techniques of heating bits and shards of glass
in a kiln using Spectrum's System 96 glass. This course focuses on developing
more advanced skills in the medium in order to create glass art expressing
your own personal style. Bring your ideas, designs and questions!
Some fusing experience preferred but not required.
$65 for 2.5 hours of instruction and supplies.
Introduction to Stained Glass
This class will introduce students to the classic art of Stained Glass.
You will learn how to cut glass, foil and solder in the Tiffany style.
Students will choose from a variety of designs and colored glass in order
to create a 6x6 inch design. No experience required!
$65 for 2.5 hours of instruction and supplies.
Intermediate Stained Glass
This class builds on the skills learned in our Introduction to Stained
Glass class, in order to create a larger window or one of more complex
design. This class will include tips on pattern making, advanced cutting
techniques, a little hands-on use of the Taurus Ring Saw II and more intricate
soldering.
*Prerequisite: Intro to Stained Glass class or equivalent
experience (with instructor's permission) required.
$165 for 12 hours of instruction PLUS the cost of
supplies.

Introduction to Glass Bead Making
This class provides the basic skills necessary to make beautiful glass
beads! Learn to safely use the torch to manipulate hot glass to create
your beads. A variety of decorative techniques will be covered and you
will leave with a handful of beads that you can proudly show off!
No experience necessary!
$65 for 2.5 hours of instruction and supplies.
Intermediate Bead Making
Students will have the opportunity to practice their bead making techniques,
focusing on precision and detail. More advanced decorative techniques
will be covered, including encasing, twisties, and non-traditional bead
shapes.No experience necessary!
*Prerequisite: Intro to Glass Bead making class,
or equivalent experience (with instructor's permission)
$65 for 2.5 hours of instruction and supplies.
Mosaics
Create a mosaic tile to hang or to use! The first day is spent cutting
and arranging your design using glass, nuggets and gems. The second day
involves grouting your original piece and leaning more about mosaics.
No experience necessary!
$85 for two 2.5 hour sessions--a total of 5 hours. Attendance at two sessions
is required to complete your mosaic!
Basic Jewelry Making Techniques
Learn how to assemble a bracelet or necklace using glass beads you have
made in previous classes. Turn your collection of beads into wearable
art for your friends and family to admire!
$65 for 2.5 hours of instruction. You will need to provide any supplemental
beads that you want to include in your design.

Kaleidoscope Workshop
In this session, you will learn about what makes a kaleidoscope work and
then make one of your own.
$65 for 2.5 hours of instruction PLUS the cost of supplies
